Working in live music often means visibility, pressure and stepping into rooms that can feel intimidating - whether you're on stage or working across the live sector.
From early career moments to established artists and industry leaders, these feelings can show up in surprising ways.
Chaired by executive coach Sarah Page, this LIVE Talk brings together artists and industry professionals to share moments when they've felt out of their depth, how self doubt shows up in their work, and how they navigate it.
The session will begin with brief context setting before moving into a moderated discussion exploring how imposter feelings intersect with visibility, comparison and confidence under scrutiny.
Audience Q&A will follow, with space for anonymous questions. We recognise that imposter feelings can be particularly prevalent for people from underrepresented backgrounds, and we actively welcome discussion and participation around these experiences.
The conversation will close with a short summary of key themes and a downloadable reflection sheet with a few simple prompts attendees can explore afterwards.
Panellists:
Simeon Walker - Artist
Steph Van Spronsen - Artist Manager & Founder, Baroness Music
Zac Fox - CEO, Kilimanjaro Live
Natasha Gregory - Agent & Co-Founder, Mother Artists
